December 31st - Happy New Year!

...and so ends my year of daily blogging.

Well.

Its been great.

I had planned on writing about my year today.

But i'm sure you already know.

Goals etc to be mentioned tomorrow.

If I post tomorrow..

My new camera came today.

I sorted my holidays out.

I picked up a shift on Friday.

And i'm at work again tomorrow.

December 30th - The Christmas Haul

So i've seen a fair few of these popping up recently and I thought i'd do my own.

There are other things not pictured.

I had listed them,

But really, i'm not going to advertise my belongings online, am I.

The above are all from my Mam, Nan, brother and fiancé.

I don't particularly have anything to write about any of the items.


But i'm so happy to finally have the two other Funko Stitchs!

And the iPhone fisheye lens is pretty awesome!

And i'm really looking forward to reading the book about Walt Disney.

Today

I finally ordered my new camera.

That should* hopefully arrive tomorrow.

And I got another stock sale!

4th of the month.

Thats 9 in two months.

Sort of hoping i'm not.

I've got so much planned right now.

So many ideas.



But today went terribly as my fiancé didn't feel well.
Which meant I had to order my camera rather than go out and buy it.
And I didn't get to Waterstones to get some motivational/inspirational photography books.
If i'm not working Friday, i'll head there Thursday evening.

December 29th - A Day Of Work

I was at work all day.

Since then i've had a few shoot ideas.

I need to think of more and perfect the ones I have.

I don't want to go into detail about them because they're totally top secret, sort of.

Kinda.

I'm feeling a bit better today.

But really tired so didn't go to my boyfriend's house tonight.

Have plans for tomorrow.

Back in work for two days.

Off for one or two (he's asked if I can work Friday now - to be discussed on Tuesday).

And my holidays in March are now secured.

But i'm going to have to put a holiday form in for it still.

Preying I remember for Tuesday.

I also need to find out whats happening with the other hours I have/had too and fill the form in for that.

*sigh*

So much pressure to remember things.

I think i'll hit up Waterstones tomorrow and see if I can find any good photography books.

Its time to get this show on the road.

I'm 22 now.

I'm not the young, 21 year old kid I was when I started this daily blog 363 days ago.

December 28th - Back To Work

Went back to work today.

Feeling super ill.

Went anyway because its my week to go at 6.

WRONG.

The person I take turns with managed to get a shift change meaning she was leaving at 6 and I was stuck there til 9.

My manager was on late and there wasn't anything to do though so he let me go at 8.

Still feel ill.

Bed soon.

Work tomorrow.

Then go to see my boyfriend.

Plans on Monday.

Work Tues & Wed

Then off again!

December 27th - Still.

Still feel ill.

Only lasted a couple hours in Newcastle today too.

:(

Back to work tomorrow.

Hope i'm  better.

December 23rd - Christmas Eve Eve

It's Christmas Eve Eve!

I was at work for 9 hours.

It was actually crazy.

Non stop.

The place was still packed when I left at 9!

Just 9 hours to go now.

My Auntie picked me up a new card since I lost the one I bought.

And I don't know where shes put it so im no further forward -.-

December 22nd - 18 Hours To Go

I was at work all day.

Omg I am really really exhausted.

In 18 more hours now until Christmas.

I'm slicing tomorrow too so i'm so glad to finally get a break from reductions!

I can not wait for Tuesday, 6pm. 

Anyway.

After work I picked up a KFC and headed to my boyfriend's house.

We watched The Grinch and I got an early Christmas present!

It was yet another Tinkabelle -.-

I've opened so many of these, in California and a few since getting back and i've only bloxed one Stitch.

ONE!

I also shot a few photos of our gingerbread house.

Photoblog post to come soon... hopefully before Christmas.

I headed back home after the movie, had a bath and then wrote this blog post before bed.

Thats about it.

December 21st - 26 Hours To Go

I was at work all day really.

Finished at 9.

Really feeling it now.

Have to stay til 5 tomorrow.

Its horrible.

Probably have to do the reductions too.

Not looking forward to that and I have no labels left.

Its now 10:30 and I should probably go to bed.

Working til 5 tomorrow then watching a movie and getting some food with my boyfriend before getting sorted for another long shift on Monday.

Also you may have noticed me mention how loud my neighbours are in the past.

Well.

Today I heard the clearest ever argument where the mother kicked out her 7th born child.

Its kind of awkward because idk if they know we can hear it every day when they shout, or if they just don't care.

Either way I hope they stop soon.

December 20th - Half Way Through

Argh.

I am exhausted.

So, so tired.

I went to work for 9 hours then straight in shopping after.

Didn't get home til 8.

I'm going to bed soon.

Four more shifts to go.

I've worked 33 hours since Tuesday.

Just 35 more hours until i'm I get a day off.

Have a photo of my cat because my blog posts are horrible right now.

December 19th - Hays Travel Update

They finally got back to us!

We're getting some of our money back.

Its kind of funny because they said we'd get nothing back.

So yeah.

I really won't be booking with them again!

I agreed to go in early tomorrow so I asked if I could leave early.

I felt bad for doing it because there was still slicing to be done, but nightshift told me just to go so..

I'm really tired.

Just five shifts to go!

December 18th - Oops!

Forgot to update last night!

I was at work all afternoon and finally saw the rota for the next two weeks.

They've changed again!

I've got boxing day off too!

I really didn't expect that.

6 shifts til Christmas!

December 17th - And So It Begins

Shift 1/8 complete!

Tired.

Feel like i've forgotten something too.

And I missed a couple of people out of my christmas cards list too!

Roll on next Wednesday.

It'll probably be my next blog post that isn't just "work"

Shorter shift tomorrow though then i'm busy after that too.

So maybe tomorrows post won't be as bad.

December 16th - Its nigh

Today was my last day off until Christmas day.

I'll be in work for 64 hours until my next day off.

Thats more hours I work in a month if I don't get any overtime.

It includes four late nights.

I am not looking forward to it.

Now that i've checked the actual hours and so on it seems far worse than it sounded when I checked the rota.

Anyway I didn't do a whole lot today.

Had plans but decided to rest instead so cancelled mine and my boyfriend's cinema trip too.

I wrote my Christmas cards out for work though.

Funny thing.

I wrote all the names on the envelopes first.

Then filled in the cards and put them in the envelopes.

Turns out, there was two spare envelopes in the box, so I thought I had enough in the one box, but didn't.

Thats about as interesting as it gets.

I'm desperate to see Saving Mr Banks again too.

December 15th - A Festive Sunday

I spent the morning in the city centre with my Mam.

I got some new jeans and a top for Christmas.

And the last card I needed to buy.

I spent the afternoon with my boyfriend.

We went to Sainsburys but it was atrocious.

The local store has nothing.

They didn't have anything I was looking for - goosefat roast potatoes, etc.

So we walked to Morrisons.

We got what we needed there.

And I finally found the wreath I want.

But when we asked if they sell hangers... NOPE!

So I didn't buy it.

Anyway this is what we made.

Gingerbread men.

Marble cupcakes.

And of course.

This years gingerbread house.

The roof was a real pain, the milky buttons just kept sliding!

December 14th - Woohoo!

Haggled.

Picked up another late night, but i've got tomorrow off!

Yes!

My legs are aching though.

omg.

December 13th - Again!

I forgot to post my blog - again!

I don't know whats happening O.o

Anyway I was at work for a long shift.

Got some new uniform.

Probably shouldn't have got it during my break, missed 1/3rd of it!

Saturday is potentially another long shift, and I need to go to personnel before I start.

December 12th - More Work

Went to work.

Checked the rota.

Think Monday is my only day off until Christmas day.

And we've still got the late nights now.

idek.

December 11th - Day Off

The last day off that I know of before Christmas Day.

I'm sure i'll be getting a day or two off before then, I just don't know when they are.

Sorted a load of stuff out then went to meet my boyfriend when he finished work.

Had planned on going to the cinema after but it was just so cold :|

We watched Alvin and The Chipmunks movie at home instead.

December 10th - Late again!

I was at work and forgot to blog when I got home.

Slept for 10 hours :|

December 9th - New Shoot

Day off.

I decided to do a different Christmas themed shoot because of what happened on Sunday.

Hopefully i'll still fit that one in somewhere though.

December 8th - Plans Gone Wrong

I worked all day then headed to my boyfriend's,

We'd planned to make gingerbread houses and do a shoot on them for my blog.

But in a rush I forgot the table, gingerbread temples and my camera!

What!

I did see Santa though.

December 7th - How Did I Forget To Blog?!

I've not posted in days!

Not sure how I forgot!

But anyway, on Saturday I was basically just at work, they let me go at 8 too.

Yes!

December 6th - Er..

I don't really remember what happened today!

O.o

I went to work but thats really it.

December 5th - Canon Capture Christmas Competition

First off, I got like no sleep.

I made it into the final 10 in the Capture Christmas Canon Competition though!

So please go and like my photo here

I've also sold two stock images today - and one of them wasn't a sub buy!

Today has been 50/50.

It started terribly (no sleep, broken heating, electrician), then got good (competition and first sale) then turned into a nightmare (work! - long story!) then turned great again (sale two - non sub!).

December 4th - Saving Mr Banks

You all have to go see Saving Mr Banks.

Its actually amazing.

So inspirational.

I also picked my shift back up so i'm working Thursday.

December 3rd - So Much Stress

Work was crazy.

Feel really bad for nightshift, we left them so much stuff to do.

:(

I'm pretty worried for Tuesday now.

I have to do a new thing that i've never done before.

But i've been told its easy / incredibly boring so hopefully it'll all go fine.

We also put up our tree at home today too.

It looked so nice.

Then it fell over.

Thats never happened before.

Ever.

I came home to see this photo.

My boyfriend posted it.

I've been whinging to make gingerbread men/houses for ages so i'm glad he finally took the hint.

December 2nd - Day Off

Pretty tired today.

I'd aimed to write my new photoblog post but didn't have time so hopefully I can get that online before work tomorrow. 

I sorted my room out a bit today.

And we've got the Christmas decorations out for my house too.

They're not up yet.

But will be soon!

I also sold another photo download!

December 1st - New Month

New month!

It's nearly Christmas!

I went to work then went to my boyfriend's house after.

We put up the Christmas tree.

It needs more decorations.

November 30th - The Last Day of The Month

Worked all day really.

Got home a little early.

But sadly, not early enough to go and see the Coke Truck

:(

And now i've picked up some overtime tomorrow and start early instead of 12.

Which is always good.

I also hurt my back yesterday.

Its not feeling too great today.

November 28th - Holidays

I am tired!

I need to sort my holidays out for Saturday now.

For now my manager has put them down in January.

But I don't want my holidays in January..

Looking to book a Sunday in Jan and Feb then a weekend in March.

Then maybe a Sunday off with my few remaining hours.

Idk.

I had other plans tonight.

I now cant remember what they are.

I'm super tired.

November 27th - The Day Inbetween

Today was my day off in between shifts.

Back in tomorrow until Sunday afternoon.

This arrived today.

The one time I didn't want the variant - thats what I unboxed!

I took some new photographs and you can see the blog post here.

I then headed to my boyfriend's house and put up our advent calendars before I headed out.

I met my boyfriend when he finished work and we went shopping for christmas decorations and I tried to pick up the last of the presents I needed.

Once again, it didn't work out.

I've still got one left to get!

Also, Black Friday week on Amazon is taking over my lift.

Then theres Black Friday to deal with.

November 26th - More Work

Lazy morning.

Work 3-9.

It wasn't too bad actually!

Which was surprising.

Loads of reductions though.

I'm tired now.

I did have stuff planned for tonight but I can't remember what it was anymore.

November 25th - The Death Of Brian Griffin

Up early.

Super tired.

Went to Newcastle with my mam.

Christmas shopping tradition.

There was nothing to buy to be honest.

Unsuccessful trip.

Nutella crepe.

And then I come home to find Brian Griffin has been killed off.

November 24th - Urg

Early start at work.

Three people off!

It actually didn't go bad at all.

Wasn't too happy with having to do the reductions.

Crowded.

Unable to move.

People pushing loaves from their baskets in front of my face / printer trying to get me to mark it down further.

Nightmare really.

Got away early.

As usual.

Went to my boyfriend's after tea and listing a couple of things on eBay.

We watched the new Family Guy episode and I'm a Celebrity then went to bed.

Up so early on Monday.

November 23rd - Work

Today started ok.

I finally felt alright again.

I get to work and BOOM.

Thanks for bringing it up in front of loads of other people.

How does everyone even know anyway?

How did so many people find out about it before me?

Well.

I saw some of the Christmas rota.

But it was gone before I got to write it down.

I seem to be working every horrible shift.

Theres only like three of us in on New Years Day.

I have to work til 6 on Christmas Eve and i'd rather not.

I'm also working til 9 the night before because the person who is contracted that has jumped to night shift to get off it.

I don't even know whats happening.

I really liked my job until yesterday.

November 22nd - Annoyed

Got some 'bad news' at work.

Rather annoyed.

But got home to find another sale on shutterstock.

So its all good.

Pretty tired but really should submit those last 10 images.

Roll on Monday.

November 21st - The Day Off That Didn't Feel Like It

I had a super busy day today.

I didn't even get online properly until around 4pm.

I cleaned my room and tidied my cupboards until around 1pm!

I checked Facebook after that, while I was just waiting around and saw this.

I saw a competition by Canon on my Facebook the day before and decided to enter it.

Now I find that my photograph (the gingerbread house) has made in into the "some of the best so far" folder.

I still have 10 images to submit on shutterstock.

The rest were approved last night.

49 still pending on veer.

Going to try and make the most of my free time from now.

But I get the feeling it won't happen until January.

I don't have my Christmas rota yet though.

And no idea whats going to happen with these extra shifts i've been doing.

I need to book in the last of my holidays before they allocate them too.

Also.

My mam bought these for my boyfriend and I.

November 20th - Day Off

Day off.

Got hardly any sleep.

Started off by filling in some info on those stock images that need uploading.

Still have 10 left to do though.

Theres a few of them i'm expecting not to get accepted. 

But its worth a shot anyway.

Then I sorted out the eBay cupboard.

Super tidy, am I right?

After that I went to meet my boyfriend after work.

I got there early and did some sneaky Christmas shopping.

Apparently the Burger King had been closed all day and reopened at 7.

People started queueing up around 6:30!

We went back around 6:50 and I sat down while my boyfriend got served.

No one else had that idea so I was totally alone in the seating area!

November 19th - Double Discount

Went to work.

Went in store after work.

Double discount day.

Got my cat his advent calendar.

£20 giftcard well spent.

November 18th - Day Off

Shutterstock has been down all day.

Put another 40+ images up for approval on Veer.

And wrote this blog.

Thats all I did today.

Back in work tomorrow!

November 17th - Work and Danboard

Went to work.

It was pretty crazy.

Went home.

Went to my boyfriends.

We made this.

I'll be posting a photo blog on it later so i'll probably link that in tomorrows blog post.

I also opened my vinylmation!

Got the chaser in my first box!

I got two of boo, a dory and two of Dot.

I really wanted Emile, Mr Pricklepants and Alpha.
