January 31st - Kung Hei Fat Choi

Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year!

Thats one whole month down and we've only crossed like two things off that list!

We've finally booked London for March so thats another one that will be down soon.

And its the Chinese New Year event next Sunday!

Starting to fall behind with my photography blog, its been great having two posts publishing a week and I haven't actually wrote any in about a month! 

Except for a new blog or two I shot after the other posts were written*

I preordered Saving Mr Banks today.

I really can't wait to see it again!

Anyway I was at work all day.

My next day off isn't until Wednesday!

Having some pretty weird feelings right now.

Oh, Life.

January 30th - Day Off!

Back to work tomorrow.

Its been a long day.

My room is sort of, kinda, tidy, ish, now though.

I finally got rid of these too.

I don't think i've worn them since 2006 other than to gigs.

January 29th - Cake!

I had a day off work!

Didn't do much during the day.

Surprised my fiancé with this when he got home from work and visiting his new job.

And my new photography blog post went live.

January 28th - Its finally over!

My working week is over!

My 'weekend' starts tomorrow!

So happy :')

I got hardly any sleep last night.

I finally got to sleep around 1am after finding my eye mask.

Its the absolute worst having a window above your door when people don't go to sleep before you do.

January 27th - I forgot to blog!

I forgot to blog last night!

I was basically just at work the whole time though.

Nothing happened.

January 26th - 400th post!

I was at work all day.

I'm back at work again tomorrow so I didn't do my usual Sunday night stuff.

Just stayed home, watched Dog the bounty hunter and cuddled my cat.

Oh and I ordered another of my fiancé's valentines presents.

I think its the last one.

Also my cat is feeling a bit better today I think.

Hes snoring again at least.

January 25th - Worrrk

I went to work.

I'm tired.

January 24th - Work!

I'm in til Tuesday night now.

Didn't do anything other than work today.

Nothing major happened.

Except..

January 23rd - Day off!

Back to work tomorrow, not off again until Wednesday!

I did find some of my old ND work though!

January 22nd - Day Off!

I didn't do a whole lot.

I thought everything was sorted but it wasn't so i'll be doing that on Thursday.

I sorted out my room though, I now have three empty drawers!

To fill with my stuff thats in boxes and bags.

Yay..

I went to my fiancé's house to wait for him when he finished work.

When I got there I found this waiting for me.

:)

I had a 'pet' lobster once, but my Dad and his friends ate him.

:(

We ordered in some food in celebration* and it actually turned up in under 2 hours this time!

*= He's just got a new job, being paid over half my yearly wage more than he was at his current/old job.

He starts two or three weeks before we're supposed to go to London though!

So i'm glad I didn't book it yet so we can get permission for that one day.

January 21st - Work!

It actually went amazingly well.

It never does that on a Tuesday.

I must have missed something somewhere.

It also took a bad turn.

But I dunno.

I got my lion king tickets this morning!

January 20th - Busy Day

Thought i'd better blog while I still can.

Its been a pretty busy day.

I've been sorting out so much of my stuff its crazy.

Thats actually all i've done.

Oh and I made another sale today!

January 19th - Work!

I was at work all day.

It didn't go as bad as I thought it would.

After work I went to my fiancé's house.

We made what should have been the worlds most garlicy garlic bread.

In reality it didn't even taste garlicy to me.

It was number 32 on our list of 50 things to do in 2014.

We're not doing it in order, it's the second thing we've crossed off.

The first was number 1: decide where to go on holiday.

 I then took a few photos with his help, i've not gone through them yet, i'm going to do that on Monday night probably, or Tuesday morning, depending on when the internet gets cut.

Because it was Sunday my new photoblog post went live.

My internet is going off at some point on Monday, and should be reconnected at some point on Tuesday afternoon.

But they were supposed to turn up two weeks ago and didn't.

So fingers crossed! :(

Chinchillas!

January 18th - A Saturday Off!

I had to use up the last of my holidays - so heres my day off!

Ended up getting up late - lazy.

We headed out by 11 and went through Newcastle.

It got really boring, really fast so we headed back early to sort out the spare room.

Its pretty much sorted now, it'll be a while before I turn it into my studio, but its being put to use for now.

While I was out I found these!

I had to just grab them!

Upon getting home I realised that theres only two episodes a volume, but thats fine, as far as im aware you can't get a region 2 of this in any other way.

I came home to a really happy cat.

After he snuggled into me purring for half an hour I realised he was a bit different, I think he over cleans when he misses me :(

Now he seems a little poorly and tired, and his fur is feeling a little cold so hes snuggled up under his blanket having a nap.

January 17th - Work!

Spent the afternoon at work.

It was a bit crazy, but generally alright.

Went to see my fiancé after work.

We ordered food and it took like two and a half hours to get there.

And then it was the wrong order.

URG!

I caught up with an episode of RHOC while he worked on his new website, then we watched an episode of South Park before bed.

I had intended on an early night, but after the food fiasco it didn't really happen.

January 16th - And so it begins

Today started what will be a difficult two weeks.

Anyway I worked 3-9.

I'm still poorly.

Having major sinus issues.

I made this when I got home.

Its awesome, right?

January 15th - The Day Off

I really didn't get anything done.

But im finally feeling a little better.

I found out I got my holidays.

And I made my first sale of 2014!

I've got so much to do stock wise, but now I just don't know when i'll have the time as i'm forecast to be without internet on Monday, and thats the day I dedicated to all of this.

I spent some of the day planning.

and I made my tickers on the Dibb and the Disboards.

I'm not too sure what I did with the rest of the day.

The new photoblog post went live today.

And i'm back at work tomorrow.

January 14th - Urg

Tired.

Poorly.

Went to work.

Picked up another shift.

We booked our holiday and Thomson tried to say the flights had gone up - by a couple hundred pound each!

As if!

So I checked the website, and nope, the price hasn't actually changed at all....

Such scammers.

January 13th - Plans

I had loads of plans but everything went so wrong.

I feel ill.

Back to work tomorrow.

January 12th - More Work

Crazy, crazy day.

Went to my boyfriend's after work.

Had some tv issues.

He'd bought me some mini sausage rolls and Haribo Balla Balla for while I caught up on Real housewives of Orange County.

Thats about it.

January 11th - Work...

Worked from lunch til late.

Thats about it.

I'm tired.

Handed in my holiday form too.

I'm tired.

In tomorrow then a day off!

I don't have a photo for today..

But!

January 10th - More Work

I was at work all afternoon.

Finally got my new rota.

Dropped the 7am starts and picked up a 3-9 Tuesday.

He wouldn't go for the Saturday off and i'll go the lates Tues-Thursday.

Theres no one on lates for the other two right now either.

I bet he ends up asking me on Tuesday or something.

Need to put my holidays in in the morning, he won't tell me until Tuesday if I can have them or not though.

I'm at work all weekend now.

January 9th - WORK!

Didn't do much today.

Went to work this afternoon.

It wasn't too bad.

My manager and I are making a deal with the rota tomorrow so I still don't know when i'm in next week.

Oh and there was a crazy panic thing this morning when my friend from work messaged me asking if i'm alright because she's heard i'm not well.

Err.. Im fine?!

My manager though'd i'd rung in sick!

It wasn't me though >.<

haha.

Confusing morning for us all.

Only other thing that happened today was I got accepted onto another stock site.

Things are on the move!

I need to start taking a photo every day because these posts have been looking way too boring recently.

January 8th - The Last Day

Its my last day off.

I had so many plans.

But in reality I started a few things and didn't finish them.

I've been so tired all day - I didn't get much sleep last night.

:(

January 7th - Busy Day

Busy day!

I didn't get any stock done.

But I did find out that I'd been accepted onto iStock after all three of my quality check photos were approved.

I moved a couple of boxes of my props to my new studio room.

But thats about it.

A lot of moving stuff around and tidying. 

I spent the night planning our possibly Florida trip

Oh and I found out that The Lion King is coming to Sunderland!

Super excited!

I was planning on booking it in London if we go down in March but now I don't need to!

Can't wait to see it again :D

January 6th - A Day of Photography

Day off.

I've worked the entire day on photography blog posts and stock sites.

I even took a few photos too!

I have scheduled photoblog posts from now until February 2nd being posted every Wednesday and Sunday up to now.

We also hit 50 likes on Bandcove in under 24hours.

Go like it on facebook and sign up to the website!

I don't really have much else to say today!

January 5th - Back To Work

I was at work all day.

But something hilarious happened.

A customer asked for a bread that comes in frozen and we'd run out of baked off ones.

So a colleague got her a frozen one as the customer was fine with that.

As she packs the bread the customer says "Can I not have it sliced?"

Its frozen.

The colleague decides to try it anyway.

The machine is pretty strong on full power.

But not quite strong enough as the bread got stuck half way through the machine!

Its all fine though.

Machine is fine.

Customer accepted an unsliced one.

Its fine.

After work I went to my fiancé's house.

We had a few plans but they went out the window!

When I got there he told me to go read the quote for our holiday*.

And when I picked up the sheet I found this under it.

Its basically a card thanking me for being awesome!

:D

He then went to finish something on the site hes making - I saw him again about 4 hours later when he came down to make us something to eat!

But its fine :)

January 4th - A Saturday Off

Weekend day off?!

YES!

Plans didn't quite work out this morning.

Weather was terrible so I didn't get any photos taken.

Went to Newcastle in the afternoon.

Its been so long since I went on a weekend and wow! 

It was crazy and packed!

Hate it.

On the way to get the metro some man started running to try and pass us on the ramp leading into Seaburn Station.

There was 4min til the metro, I don't know why he felt the need to run in front of us to get to the machine first.

But anyway, it was quite hilarious as Seaburn station have barriers on the ramp (to stop bikes etc) and well, this jerk didn't see them and ran straight into them!

Haha.

Then started running again.

*sigh*

My boyfriend played I just can't wait to be King from the Lion King for me today.

I bought my fiancé a Naruto Icecube tray for Christmas.

It actually works a lot better than the Hello Kitty tray I got a few years ago!

I also went into the Apple store today and priced up a Mac Pro.

It costs £1000 more than my car did!

:| yikes.

I miss the old style student discount combined with Black Friday discount that I got on my iMac.

*sigh*

We were planning out my studio today.

Actually can't wait.

I really miss developing film too.

Maybe i'll need a darkroom shed.  

We've been discussing our holiday too.

He's going to go check in store if they'll give us the same/a better price than online tomorrow.

Theres a discount online til Monday at midnight but I won't see my manager before then to check out holiday availability.

Arrg!

I have that Lion King song stuck in my head on loop now.

January 3rd - Work!

I was at work.

I'd been brought in to do something specific but someone else did it so I just did my normal job.

Pretty easy shift really.

Then I went to my boyfriends for the night.

Took all the Christmas decorations down :(

January 2nd - 50 things to do in 2014

Day off work!

I came home from my boyfriend's at around 9am and got straight into taking photos!

Well i'm not sure what happened with that.

I can't even remember what it was.

I'm sure I mentioned go back to learning Japanese somewhere.

And well, I started again, and bought more stuff, but i'm still no further forward.
