July 28th - Work

Planned on a good post today.

But I really can't.

Quick one.

Running late.

In short - work.

Working an extra shift now.

Thursday.

July 27th - A Saturday Off For The Air Show

Got given the chance to have today off.

TOOK IT!

Airshow!

Took my camera and video camera but didn't stake out a spot and shoot the whole day this year because I don't have both days to go to it anymore and the pictures are all pretty much the same.

If I get a bigger zoom lens then I definitely would be staking out that spot again!

We met up with one of my friends and spent the day with her there.

It was mint.

I got a snowcone!

And my boyfriend bought me a Millennium ball.

My actual Millennium, Millennium ball broke. 

After she left I walked back down and my boyfriend won me all of this stuff.

And then walked over 3000 steps to go to McDonalds for dinner.

The food was an absolute let down and not worth all of those steps.

Feet are killing.

I took some videos (short, I don't know what i'm going to do with those) and some photos, i'll probably post those up next Thursday or after.

One shift left at work then an awesome three days are due.

I'll try blog on the day, but who knows.

July 26th - Air Show Opening Ceremony

First time i've been to the opening ceremony.

Can't say it was great.

Decided to head back and watch the fireworks from our bedroom window too.

I had work before that, and before I got back a couple of my friend's went to my boyfriend's house and picked up some retro gaming consoles that we didn't want anymore.

Thats about all that happened!

July 25th - The Wolverine

The Wolverine.

The movie.

In 3D.

It was awesome.

Can't wait for the next instalment. 

For the first time in history, the cinema kept the lights dimmed to direct you to watch the end trailer clip.

It was awesome.

As we're unsure if the depth of field and blur was a 3D problem or just distractingly done in filming/post production.

But either way.

July 24th - A whole load of nothing

Tidied my room and cupboards.

Thats about it at home.

Then we started again at my boyfriend's house.

Found a megadrive and a game gear so giving those to my friend on Friday :)

July 23rd - Late

Fell seriously behind here.

23rd.

I did actually do stuff.

But I can't remember what.

Other than walking to the beach and picking up some food from Morrisons I think that was it really.

July 22nd - A Whole Load of Stuff

Yesterday was pretty busy.

Late post, I know.

First I was sorting out eBay invoices etc.

Then as I pick up the envelopes a HUGE spider comes out from behind them and jumps out of the cupboard.

My brother, cat and myself couldn't find it.

I gave up eventually and closed the cupboard door.

Obviously realising I need stuff out of it, I reopened it and...

I'd already accidentally killed it or one of them!

:D 

So I got that sorted.

But didn't really get anything else done.

I met my boyfriend in Newcastle when he finished work to pick up more of the holiday/house stuff.

New photo frame for when we decorate.

New iPad cover for London/Cali.

I don't see the point in taking a photo of it, so its just the plain black incase neoprene sleeve for iPad mini.

And a load of laffy taffy, etc.

Then we dropped this stuff off at his and headed to Tesco. 

Saw a couple of people who were somewhat stalking me a few months ago while I was there.

And my boyfriend's brother who works there now.

I didn't take my car and wouldn't let my boyfriend pay for a taxi, and let me tell you, £77 worth of shopping is heavy.

Eventually the handles on one of the 7 bags split around 5 houses before we got back to his.

It all went fine though.

Oh, I also put another magnet on the fridge.

And we watched Family guy before bed too.

I don't blog so chronologically anymore.

July 21st - Update

So tired.

Went to work today.

Between my shoulders is killing.

After work I went to my boyfriend's house.

He needed help to put up the new curtain rail.

Now its time for more house based stuff before bed.

Hes currently chopping down a tree from the garden as I type.

No photo though.

Nor a Tim.

So have a couple of chinchillas.

And an updated Disney shelf.

Also.

I brought over the pillow my Nan and Grandad gave me for Christmas.

It looks better here.

July 20th - Police & Thieves

I got out early.

At like 6:30 or something.

Planned on writing a good blog but, I started listening to music instead.

Really into The Clash right now.

Still. 

Back to work tomorrow.

Better post then hopefully, if not, two good ones on Monday?

Also.

I think someone tried to steal my phone when I was waiting to get picked up from work.

Yikes.

July 19th - Sunnycon Review?

Wow, i'm tired.

Last night I was faced with a spider by my tooth brush.

Now dead

And two moths in my bedroom as I was about to go to bed!

Now dead.

Work went pretty quick.

It was pretty hectic.

More wage budget cuts.

Also greeted by the news I may have a weekend day off next week.

Which is awesome, because I asked to put a holiday in and he said it was fully booked.

So... BOOYAH.

May be unpaid though.

But chea, AIRSHOW. 

I had a new vinylmation arrive today.

I had to leave bad eBay feedback to the buyer.

Why?

I messaged them after paying saying to address it to me NOT my mam.

Did they? 

NO

So now my mam knows I bought another one.

And shes already said 8 vinyls ago not to bring another one in.

It is exactly 1 month today that I head off to California.

The home of the happiest place on earth.

I really need to buy our annual passes soon!

And the rest of my clothes and toiletries.

And pay for the insurance.

And sort out my ESTA.

*sigh*

Hopefully I can get to town with my mam this week and finish my shopping off.

London soon too!

My boyfriend is off to sort out some currency, our trip transport and some other stuff soon/next couple weeks too!

I still don't know what to take in € Euros for the stop overs.

I wrote a review for Sunnycon on Tripadvisor this morning.

It looks like they've taken the whole page down because I reviewed it.

July 18th - The Real Plan

So day off number 2.

Woke up super wide eyed and motivated.

It lasted about 2 hours so I didn't get that much done really.

New video up on YouTube though.

Struggling to understand the new YouTube, which now means Blogger is telling me I have no videos.

So that space above might stay videoless.

I'll link here if it does.

I still have about 3 to upload from the past months though.

I didn't get the photos edited from the shoot I did yesterday, so no blog post about that either.

Not even in yesterdays post because I forgot about it.

I didn't get anything sorted for my holiday either.

And its in 1 month and 1 day.

July 17th - The Plan

Day off #1

The plan was to hit the rock pools when my boyfriend finished work.

He finished pretty late and it was cloudy and cold when he got back so we just walked to the beach and got some food instead. 

I got a Calippo.

The best ice based treat in the world.

Orange flavour.

Cola being the flavour of choice at Disneyland Paris.

Thats about all that happened really.

July 16th - Monsters University

I got an early finish from work.

Then I met my boyfriend when he finished and we went to see Monsters University.

My Disney parcel also came :)

I unboxed the chaser!

YEAH!

June 15th - I just want to sleep!

Went to bed late.

Seriously tired.

Like ARGUJGFH level of tired.

Stayed awake all day though, bed super early because i'm up at 5am again tomorrow.

A long shift tomorrow.

Then off to see Monsters University with my boyfriend.

Probably be in 2D now because I don't think we'd make the 6:15 3D showing as we both finish work at 5!

June 14th - What even happened?

I can't remember what I did yesterday.

Oh wait.

I was at work.

Learnt something new.

So thats pretty good, right?

Then I headed to my boyfriend's and he built the new BBQ my Mam bought us :)

I finally got to see our new bed too!

I didn't take a photo, but theres one in Saturday's blog.

Also, a hedgehog is now living in our garden.

July 13th - New bed

Went to work.

Seriously tired.

Back to work tomorrow.

Spoke to my manager again.

He's said hes going to look into recontracting me still.

Idk if it'll happen.

Our new bed came today.

And my mam bought us a BBQ.

No more disposables going out mid BBQ for us :D

July 12 - Nightmare

Today was just a nightmare.

Now i'm tired.

I can't dry my hair because the wire is too short for it to reach in front of the mirror.

So now i'm watching The Middle.

Then getting some sleep for work tomorrow.

I finally got my name on a coke bottle though.

I'd show a picture but my instagram won't share on Facebook for some strange reason.

July 11th - Tired

I'm pretty tired and don't feel well today.

I tidied my room a little and listed some stuff on eBay, but thats about it.

My boyfriend finally made our World of Color package reservations and the one for our Goofy's Kitchen breakfast. 

I also finally emailed my old college, like I was told to do in a letter.

Got an automated 'on holiday' response.

Erm.

July 10th - Day off

I had the day off.

I met my boyfriend late afternoon and we picked up some stuff for the house and the new bed.

Then he cut the grass while I watched.

Thats about it really.

July 9th - Work

Basically, I was at work this day.

Straight after work I headed to my boyfriend's house for a BBQ.

:)

We were using a disposable one and it went out though >:(

July 8th - Tired

Oh I am tired.

Didn't do a whole lot today.

Met my boyfriend when he finished work and headed to the beach though.

I'm back at work tomorrow.

So I really need to get some Zs.

July 7th - A Sunday Off

Original plan was to head to the metro centre and finish our holiday shopping.

But it was hot and sunny so, plans change!

We sorted the house/garen a little then went to town and picked up a few bits.

Headed back and found this guy in the middle of the path

Saved it, and put it on a field.

Then it was off to the beach!

Now in shorts, since i'd bought some trainer socks since i'd forgotten to bring some.

Walked all the way to the space between the Sunderland and South Tyneside signs because theres an amazing icecream place there that my Grandad used to take me and my brother to.

Like the ice cream is so amazing, its worth the - what, 30min walk?

But when I got there I read the menu and opted for a lemonade ice lolly instead.

I don't even know why.

But it didn't take long to regret it.

*sigh*

To the arcade!

Standard.

Then we walked back up to the house as we were having a BBQ.

But then, you remember that grass I told him to get rid of after he cut the grass last time?

Well, he didn't, and there were bees building a nest inside of it.

ARGH!

We only found out because he finally listened when I said to bag it up. 

It was still tiny, only around 7 bees around.

So we got rid of it, and sprayed the surrounding area with a mixture of water and washing up liquid.

A Google search showed that it turns to some form of glue and stops the bees from being able to fly?

But I don't know about that.

Then I finally got to have my BBQ.

I was supposed to have this during my birthday week last year!

No Tim, so have these.

They don't really have official names, so right now i'm calling one Snowball and the other, Dusty.

July 6th - Work

Wow.

I'm behind.

I worked all day that day.

Went to my boyfriend's house when I finished at 9.

We walked half way to the beach and then back home.

It was cold.

But then we put on Scott Pilgrim vs The World

And he made these snacks.

And then I fell asleep on like the third evil ex.

idek. 

July 5th - One Year of Employment

Today marks the one year anniversary of me starting work.

Anyway, I was at work today too.

I was supposed to start at 9 but didn't find out til 10:30!

So started at 12, like i'd been told to on my last shift. 

I went to the beach after work.

Its pretty hot here right now.

Thats all I have time for tonight.

July 4th - Happy 4th of July!

Quick post.

I wasted my whole day.

I don't know what happened, I had to many plans and so much motivation when I woke up!

Currently just sat here, angry, after writing last nights blog post.

Furious.

Back to work tomorrow!

July 3rd - Arcade Drama

My boyfriend had an appointment so had to take the day off.

So we hit the beach in the afternoon.

You've probably heard me praise the arcade there in previous posts, well on this occasion it was not the case.

I was taking a picture of a prize to show my friends who would go down to earn enough tickets to get it.

And some woman who works on the food counter sprints over and shouts "YOU CAN'T TAKE PICTURES IN HERE!"

Like, not a 'excuse me, but we don't allow photos in here' like actually rudely shouting at me, not even a reason given, and they didn't seem to mind people doing it elsewhere, but when its of a prize...

So i'm guessing that the tatty looking prizes are fake, I mean who doesn't think they are anyway?. 

But still, RUDE. 

Angrily, I decided to cash in my 4,000 tickets, except that didn't work either because their prizes are atrocious  thats how i've accumulated so many tickets.

So we settled for getting all the tickets put onto one receipt, by the batty woman who shouted at me.

So, if she wasn't aware already, we are regulars at this arcade and spend a lot of time/money there.

Or did.

We'll see.

Anyway, I decided to go back in after I got food, and as I walk past the large woman on the change desk, I notice her turn her head and follow me as I walk passed.

Like, what are you even doing?

I took a photo, I was told not to, I put my phone away and said I wouldn't, so what is your problem?

I then left two bad 'tips' on foursquare.

I then went back and deleted the worst, it wouldn't let me delete the other.

I do feel bad as I don't think those two rude members of staff own the place, especially not the one who shouted as she didn't have the power to input our tokens into the system and had to have someone higher do it.

I'd wandered off so i'm unsure who was higher than her, as the service in the place is extremely slow, I'd already stood at the prize desk, waiting, with two other groups of people for 10min or so while the one who shouted had a conversation with the woman at the change desk. 

The change desk and prize counter are visible from each other.

That makes it so much worse. 

Anyway.

I won't mention the arcade's name or location at this point, as i'm going off two occasions from within the same day, if I return to this location, for their pinball machine only, I will update if I experience atrocious customer service again. 

And if the prizes are fake, is it really wise to treat me the way they are?

They know I took pictures.

They know I didn't delete them.

They don't actually know what i've done with them.

Unless they're reading this after all. 

I posted one on facebook - but it was taken before this occasion.

The two I took on this day, haven't been posted anywhere. 

I simply told my friend's I suspect the Dragon Ball Z prizes may be fake as I got in trouble for taking pictures of them and so I wouldn't be posting the two new pictures.

July 2nd - Work, credit and growing up

I'm so tired.

All I did today was work - for 10 hours.

Then I came home and ate etc.

Then sorted a cred. card for while i'm away. 

:)

I had the day off today.

Went to Newcastle with my Mam to do my holiday shopping.

Didn't get much.

Back to work tomorrow.

Up at 5.

Dreading it. 

Agreed to do it thinking it'd be a 12/2 finish.

June 30th - Beach

Didn't have time to blog.

I headed to the beach with my boyfriend when I finished work.

It was pretty cold so we just went to the arcade.

The woman there was super nice and gave us £1 each to have another go on Mario Kart.

I still don't know why.

But check out me playing pinball. :)
