March 31st - It's Easter

So, I had a Sunday off today!

It was Easter, of course!

This is what Easter looks like.

My internet was off most of the morning, the modem had gotten pretty sick about not being turned off since before my brother's Easter holidays started.

It started working again after I turned the modem off for an hour.

After dinner I tried to set my brother's wifi up again.

No use, getting a new USB WiFi connector for him tomorrow.

Then I went over to my boyfriend's house.

Took him his Easter eggs, picked up my brother's birthday presents and dropped off my 5 disc changer/record player and around half of my record collection.

My room looks pretty weird without the cd/record/tape player.

I'm back at work at 7am tomorrow, so I have to get up at 5. 

I best change my calendar and get some sleep then.

I'm wrecked!

Nothing really happened.

It was sunny and warm.

I went to work.

Worked.

A group of pretty scary customers were in and not happy about us having no Easter Eggs left. 

Yikes.

March 29th - Suspicions

Long day at work today.

Shorter shift than yesterday though.

Feet and legs are killing.

Pretty exhausted really.

Im sure i'm going to have nightmares about hot cross buns.

I'm also sick of hearing "one a penny, two a penny hot cross buns".

Too many hot cross buns.

Came home.

Had KFC.

Not religious, so whatever, Good Friday traditions don't phase me.

Set my brothers new computer up.

Its not even WiFi enabled and our old signal receiver wont work with it so we need to ger him a new one tomorrow.

His friend is sleeping over.

I hope they shut up so I can sleep for work tomorrow.

My cat is now stretched out and snoring.

I figure i'll get sorted for bed now too.

March 28th - Cake Day

Tiem ter blerg!

Ok.

Went to work today.

Finished at 5.

Went to the family party for my brother & auntie's birthdays.

She didn't seem too happy about her 1D card and cake!

Although I managed to make her wear the 1D badge from her card.

Had cake.

Thats about it.

I'm pretty tired.

I have Sunday off, and another 7-5 on Monday.

Oh!

I found out about something new coming to California Disneyland too.

IRON MAN 3 EXHIBIT.

Its supposed to be there still when I go in August.

March 27th - A lazy day

Back to work tomorrow.

I got my shift swapped so i'm up at 5am.

Finish at 5pm though so I can go to my brother's birthday party thing.

I got hardly anything done today.

I stayed at my boyfriends house last night and had to get up early before he went to work.

Tired!

March 24th - Sunnycon: Con 2; Day 2

So - day two!

Last weekend off i've got until i'm in California.

Got up early.

I don't remember what time.

But got down to the convention by 8:45.

Ok, so I got a lift down - expecting the car park to be packed again, and well.. it was empty.

But at least I was warm. 

Handed in the VIP card I found, because, you know, i'm nice.

Then I recorded some of the Kendo demo.

I was pretty happy they were demoing again this year, its been months since I last saw JK!

Got some free Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.

And had Sonny Strait sign my Dragon Ball poster.

I think i'll include a photo of this tomorrow, complete with Chris Sabat's autograph.

I recorded the skit competition too.

But it was pretty confusing on the run up to the skits.

The timetable is pretty messed up, and after checking the larger print outs to see if it had been amended, I found that they hadn't changed them from Saturdays timetable to Sundays!

So I just staked out seats from like 11:30.

My arms are wrecked from recording so much.

And I found out that those replacement batteries I got for the video camera are terrible.

They lasted maybe 40min combined, where as the original lasts 40+ on its own.

I recorded some random bits and pieces that i'll try to put together into a video tomorrow.

Oh, and I also recorded Sonny Strait's talk, but I ran out of battery - twice - so missed a couple of small chunks, and then had to record the rest of it on my iPhone.

I tried to upload the Vic Mignogna video when I got home.

YouTube told me it'll take like 12 hours to upload, so i've compressed it and i'll start uploading stuff tomorrow.

March 23rd - Sunnycon: Con 2; Day 1

So.

Today has been a tiring one.

Up at 7am.

Well.. awake at 7am.

Walked down to the convention for 10:15.

Paid 50p for a con booklet.

Waste of money, didn't even have a timetable in it.

Picked up a photocopied timetable, its on a separate sheet.

Not really a keepsake.

Speaking of timetables, as the guest signings werent timetabled or previously announced before the start of the con, I didn't take the poster I had signed by Chris Sabat at last years con. And who was doing his signing when I arrived? Yeah, Sonny Strait..

We asked him though and he said it's cool, hes signing again tomorrow so i'll be taking it down then like I was going to anyway - as that is when his talk is!

Soon, my poster will be signed by Yamcha (Vegeta isn't on it..) and Krillin.

Lunch.

Obviously, as you'll all know, Queens is the place for food down at the seafront.

But it was so so cold outside!

I stepped out to leave, ran back in to the Seaburn Centre cafe, stood in the queue for about 3min before deciding to brave the cold for Queens!

Taking our own food tomorrow!

Oh, and I found a VIP card from someones lanyard as I was heading out for food.

I forgot to hand it in, it wouldn't be much use anyway because these things don't have names on them, and the VIP entries are all finished with now I think.

Double oh! also, as I was leaving for food I noticed the Akatsuki Organisation piling out of a taxi!

Never thought i'd see a terrorist organisation pay taxi fare ^_^

Anyway, after lunch I staked out 5 seats for the Vic Mignogna talk.

And around 30 seconds before the three people I was holding seats for showed up, the seats were taken by people - who i'd even asked to move down as they passed me as I was holding three seats!!

Not too bad though, i'd kept one with my bag and moved down so Chelsey could sit on the end with her niece on her knee, and her friend - who's name I always forget (I think its Lou? - sorry!) sat on a spare chair in front.

I recorded the whole talk, minus the intro / correct pronunciation of his surname.

That'll be up on YouTube by the end of Monday hopefully.

It is a 40+min video!

We left after that and my boyfriend and I headed to Newcastle.

Well, its not that often we get a day off together and there wasn't anything else on the timetable for the afternoon anyway.

I think all I bought at the con today was - that conbooklet, if you can really call it that without a timetable! a pacman cupcake, which had a few burnt parts to it :( and a mini danboard kit.

March 22nd - Presunnycon

So.

A lot went on today.

I went to work.

It was fine.

Except for having to ask my manager something three times and then my answer only being to ask someone else to swap shifts with me.

He knows she wont do a late night though.

Not sure why he needs three of us on lates on a night where there is usually just one person on either.

So, it looks like i'm probably going to miss my brother's 13th birthday.

Heh.

I don't usually 'complain' about work here, because there isn't anything to complain about.

But that is just irritating.

Any other shift would have been fine.

But no! late night!

Well.

Nothing I can do about it.

My boyfriend went to pick up our Sunnycon lanyards today.

So we're ready for tomorrow now.

All the cameras are charged, and I have my Dragon Ball poster prepped ready for Krillin's autograph next to Yamcha / Vegeta's from last year.

March 21st - Sick of being ill

Quick post for today.

I'm tired.

I woke up at 2:30am with the worst headache ever.

I'm feeling a little better now.

Still sneezy, with a headache and runny nose though!

9 hour shift tomorrow, hope I'm better!

I've sorted my plans for Saturday now.

And charged all 4 camera batteries ready for the weekend too.

Oh and I finally put this together.

Its me, but in Hello Kitty form.

March 20th - The first day of Spring

So, it is officially Spring as of today.

Thats why it was snowing, right?

*sigh*

Anyway. 

I'm so tired!

I got up at 5am and worked a 7-12. 

I had plans this afternoon, but we were both too tired / cold /lazy to go out. 

Plus.

That kid sneezing in my face on Saturday has made me ill,

I woke up with the worst cold.

Ok, not as bad as the last cold.

But still, I already thought I had glandular fever before my nose started running and blocking and before I couldn't stop sneezing.

I hope I get some good sleep tonight, and am better by Friday.

Well.

Better enough to cope with a 9 hour shift without people realising im poorly.

Oh.

I bought my boyfriend some new pants today too.

Anyway.

Day off tomorrow.

So I better charge some batteries for Sunnycon.

And finalise plans with friends, and my Saturday plan.

Thats about that for todays blog post!

March 19th - One more day then a day off!

So, I went back to work again today.

Pretty easy shift.

Got minimum sleep last night.

Off to bed soon.

Up at 5am tomorrow!

5 hour shift then I dunno what to do on the afternoon.

Bit of parking practice, catch up on Geordie Shore maybe.

Oh and my boyfriend is staying over for a few days.

Thats about it for today.

My posts are shrinking!

I wish I had a weekend day off each week so I always have something to look forward to.

Oh and I have another respiratory test coming up.

Great!

I do fine breathing when i'm practicing.

But then my nerves get me in the actual test and I can't breathe out stably for very long!

March 18th - Tired and so on.

Sorted my room a bit more today.

Helped my brother pick out his new computer.

And somewhat planned my week.

Thats all I got done today though.

Back to work tomorrow.

Then again on Wednesday with a 5am wake up!

Roll on Thursday.

Another day off.

Then back in on Friday.

Then Sunnycon at the weekend.

Somewhat.

As its my last weekend off in a long time so I don't want to waste it hanging out when the timetable for the first day pretty much sucks.

Or it did from what I remember of it.

It seems to have disappeared since a few hours ago.

I'm going to get like no sleep again tonight.

My boyfriend has gone to his mother's house, and it never ends well really.

I can't get a text back from him, and won't be able to sleep until I know how hes getting home/that hes actually home.

I'm so tired though, got hardly any sleep last night.

March 15 - Same as usual

Views spiked last night!

Back to work today.

Next weeks rota isn't too bad.

Pretty good actually, except a 7 start on Wednesday means I have to cancel going to the cinema on Tuesday night.

Off on Mon, when I thought i'd be in, and off on Thurs which is a difficult shift day for me anyway.

So its all good.

My shift time has been swapped tomorrow, so i'm finishing 3 hours earlier than usual.

Looking forward to it since I never get to see my boyfriend due to working the whole weekend and his job requiring him to stay back as late as 11pm sometimes.

My two replacement batteries for my video camera arrived today.

I need to test them out to see how long they'll last when i'm in Cali incase I need to order another set.

In other news i'm getting pretty bored of writing a dailyblog now and its only been two and a half months.

March 14th - Weekday Weekend Wasted

Didn't get much done.

Drove for a bit.

Almost bought my TSA locks, but read the packaging and they were cheap plastic.

Don't think so, Matalan!

Finally somewhat caught up with the recorded Geordie Shores we have.

Just one left to watch now.

My cat has been attention craving all day again.

And then when I left my room while he was sleeping he decided to throw everything I own everywhere until he found me.

Back to work tomorrow.

Wish I'd done something with my time off.

Next day off probably isn't til Tuesday or something.

But i'll find out tomorrow.

I've messed up my sleep pattern and feel wide awake right now.

Actually have to get up in the morning too.

Anyway.

March 13th - Short update

Just a quick update today.

 I'm pretty tired!

Did nothing at all today.

Wasted the day.

Not happy about it to be honest.

Went to see my boyfriend tonight, so I now have the third vinylmation and two photoframes.

Photos in tomorrows blog because this is just a quick blog tonight!

My cat is getting confused and upset when i'm not home.

Like he doesn't know where to settle down and sleep and just wanders around. 

Oh, and he keeps walking over and laying down on my mouse/mousemat/phone/hand when i'm at my Mac too :/

March 12th - Oz the Great And Powerful

So, I got up at 5am again.

Well, I woke up at like 4:15, and then couldn't get back to sleep.

It was horrible.

Went to work for 5 hours.

It went alright. 

The new Disney Store wasn't open, I mean I know the signs say it opens Monday, but the sign in the staff area said it opened today so everyone has been hyped about it since the weekend.

Doesn't look like they'll be selling Vinylmation anyway.

Went to see Oz the Great and Powerful in 3D (obviously) with my Mam and brother this afternoon (I worked Mother's Day) when my brother finished school.

It was pretty good.

Plus it beats watching the Wizard of Oz for the millionth time (my Mam's favourite movie)

Oh I might have posted here a week or so ago that my boyfriend bought me an Easter egg.

Well, I didn't get it yet, he was bringing it tomorrow.

And well.

His Dad ate it.

I wish I could say it was the first time he stole something, gave something that wasn't his away to someone else, or ate my chocolate items without permission, but sadly, its not a first for any of those.

March 11th - Rearranging

So, I was stoked that I had a 5 hour shift then two and a half days off.

But then, my manager asked me to stay til 5...

Hmm well ok then ££. 

Then a few hours later he asks me to work 7-5 tomorrow!

No!

7-3?

No, I have plans!

7-12, instead of Thursday?

Seems fair. :)

Shame I had plans though or i'd have done them both.

So back up at 5am tomorrow now.

5 hour shift.

Should be packing rather than on the floor too, so less/no going in and out the freezer tomorrow.

Saw the new in-store Disney Store too!

It looks amazing! 

Even better than the Sunderland store!

Although it doesn't take much to beat that one.

Rumoured to open tomorrow rather than next Monday too, so i'm pretty glad i'm in now.

I've been in a good mood all day since I went to fill the tables at the front entrance at 7:10am and all I could hear was my favourite song from the Lion King playing.

Ohh I just can't wait to be King!

March 10th - Mother's Day

So, its Mother's Day in the UK today.

Woke up this morning, gave my Mam her presents, obviously.

Main thing was the photos and photoframe, the rest were just sweets and stuff.

I also got presents from my cat.

Two packs of my favourite (at the moment) skittles, along with a pack of the new Confused? skittles.

Oh, and £10 towards my holiday spends. :')

Then I went to work.

Long day.

Legs are killing.

Have to get up at 5am to go back there, and need to catch my manager up on what happened this week.

My legs, as stated, along with my arms and hands are killing right now.

And i'm incredibly thirsty.

Think i'll head to bed soon as there is nothing to do.

So, I get minimal views on a Saturday.

My feet and legs are killing!

Worked by myself tonight.

Had a fair bit to do!

Got most of it done though, thankfully.

Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare though.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day.

I have one of those, I can't make her a cake like I do every year though because of my terribly contracted weekend.

March 8th - Why did I make this daily?

Starting to get sick of having a daily blog to write now that i'm always to tired and I because I leave writing the blog until last!

My cat feels very soft and fluffy since being brushed!

So anyway.

Today I went to work.

Went alright.

Tomorrow is going to be so bad though.

I'm in alone on the night, from around 5. 

I've just recaught that cold, and its worse than the last one I had.

I can't taste.

And I didn't realise that until I opened a can of cherry coke.

:'( 

And other than that my toe and knee are killing so bad.

I'm not even joking.

Walking hurts, standing hurts, sitting hurts.

Laying probably does too but i'm sitting typing this out before I try that.

My hand is pretty cramped up too from doing all the slicing today.

Got another two days of it too.

Hurrg.

March 7th - EA & The Simpsons Tapped Out

So, last day off until Tuesday.

I wish i'd thought of it like that earlier on because i've wasted it.

Did a lot of cleaning.

Brushed my cat, have the claw marks to prove it.

Made some Mickey biscuits.

Its been a while since I baked.

And I put together my Nan's mother's day present.

I can't share a photo of that right now as my iPhone is currently trying to play through, or 'fix' the Simpsons: Tapped out Harp of death glitch/crash.

Its been playing for 11min so far.

The only other thing I did today was more California planning!

Excited!

Also, I think its pay day tomorrow.

I'm not too sure though.

I've been boring today so this was my lunch.

My Simpsons just played through.

I'm in.

Back to the bonus level that killed me.

It just keeps telling me to select a box, then do it again, and again, and theres no X, and im stuck in a loop.

So I tried using the last of my money on trying to select another box.

It took the money.

Still can't play.

ARG.

Oh, so now i've spent all the money and reloaded.

Now you let me select a box and then play?

NOW?

Sick of EA.

Oh great.

The Irish Pub i'm building has disappeared.

And isn't in the shop list either.

March 6th - A 10 hour shift.

My blog views are dropping.

I'm exhausted after today.

Checked next weeks rota too, two 7 starts!

Which means getting up at 5am twice next week!

Still thankful for the overtime though..

So heading to bed now, i've been up since 5.

The only thing I did today, other than go to work was I went to KFC for dinner with my brother and dad.
